Terms of Service — SwipeClean

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SwipeClean mobile application ("the App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with Apple's App Store Terms of Service and the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA), available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. Where these Terms conflict with the Apple Standard EULA, the stricter applicable term governs.

2. What the App Does

SwipeClean helps you review, organize, and delete photos and videos from your device's photo library. All photo analysis (quality scoring, duplicate detection, blur and screenshot detection, and any on-device AI features) is performed locally on your device. The App does not upload, transmit, or store your photos or videos on any server.

3. Deletion of Your Content — Important

  • You are solely responsible for the photos and videos you choose to delete. Nothing is deleted without your explicit confirmation.
  • When you delete items through the App, they are moved to your device's "Recently Deleted" album and are recoverable there for 30 days, after which iOS permanently removes them. This behavior is controlled by iOS, not by the App.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any photos, videos, or data you delete, lose, or are unable to recover.

4. Subscriptions, Billing & Auto-Renewal

SwipeClean offers an optional auto-renewable subscription ("SwipeClean Premium") and a one-time lifetime purchase.

  • Plans: Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly auto-renewable subscriptions, and a one-time Lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the App and may vary by region.
  • Free trial: New subscribers may be offered a free trial. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.
  • Auto-renewal: A subscription automatically renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • Managing & canceling: You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings (Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions) after purchase.
  • Purchases and billing are processed entirely by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment information.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the App, including but not limited to: reverse-engineering, redistributing, or attempting to circumvent purchase or licensing mechanisms, or using the App in violation of any applicable law.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, and its content (excluding your photos and videos, which remain yours) are owned by the developer and protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will detect every duplicate, blurry, or low-quality photo.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, photos, videos, or profits, arising from your use of the App.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the developer's place of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
