Summary
Tashkent Metro is an offline metro guide. We do not collect, store, sell, or transmit any personal data. There are no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third‑party tracking SDKs. All metro data (lines, stations, routes, fares, photos) ships inside the app and works without an internet connection.
What data we collect
None. The app does not collect any personal information. Specifically, it does not:
- Require an account, email, phone number, or login.
- Use analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs.
- Use the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) or track you across apps or websites.
- Send any of your data to our servers — we operate no servers for this app.
This is reflected in our App Store privacy label ("Data Not Collected") and in the bundled PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy manifest (NSPrivacyTracking = false, empty NSPrivacyCollectedDataTypes).
Location
The app may ask for permission to access your location while you are using the app (When In Use). This is optional.
- Purpose: to show your current position on the metro map so you can find the nearest station.
- Handling: your location is used on‑device only, in real time. It is never stored, logged, or transmitted off your device, and it is never shared with us or any third party.
- Control: you can grant or deny this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Tashkent Metro. Denying it does not affect any other feature of the app.
Maps
The map screen uses Apple's MapKit to draw the underlying city map. To render the base map, MapKit may load map tiles from Apple over the network. That exchange is handled entirely by Apple and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy (<https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/>). We do not receive, see, or store any of that data. The metro layer drawn on top of the map (stations, lines, routes) is fully offline and bundled with the app.
On‑device storage
The app stores only your preferences on your device using the standard iOS mechanism (UserDefaults) — for example your chosen interface language and light/dark appearance. These settings never leave your device.
Children's privacy
The app is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages. Because we collect no data, we collect no data from children either. The app contains no user‑generated content, no messaging, no unrestricted web browsing, and no advertising.
Third parties
We do not share data with third parties because we do not collect any. The only platform service involved is Apple (MapKit and iOS), under Apple's own privacy terms.
Your rights
Since we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete. You remain in full control of the optional location permission and can revoke it at any time in iOS Settings.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and publish the revised version at the same URL. Material changes will be reflected in the app's release notes.
