Last Updated: January 26, 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to QRia ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application.

2. Data Collection and Usage

QRia is designed with privacy as a priority.

2.1. No Personal Data Collection

We do not collect, store, or share any personal identification information (PII) such as your name, email address, phone number, or location data.

2.2. Local Processing

All scanning and code generation operations happen locally on your device. Specifically:

  • Camera Data: The camera is used solely to scan QR codes and barcodes in real-time. We do not record or upload images or video feeds to any server.
  • Scan History: Your scan history is stored locally on your device. We do not have access to this data.

2.3. Third-Party Services

We may use standard Apple services (like iCloud) if you choose to sync your data, which are governed by Apple's own privacy policies.

3. Permissions

The app requests the following permissions to function:

  • Camera: Required to scan QR codes and barcodes. Use of the camera is ephemeral and strictly for scanning.
  • Photo Library: Required only if you choose to save generated QR codes to your gallery or scan an image from your gallery.

4. Children's Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.

5. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
