Terms of Use — Tashkent Metro

By downloading or using the Tashkent Metro app ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. The service
The App is an offline guide to the Tashkent Metro. It provides a metro map, a route planner, a station directory, station information and photos, fare information, and related reference content. The App is provided free of charge and contains no in‑app purchases, subscriptions, or advertising.
2. License
We grant you a personal, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non‑commercial purposes on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms ("Licensed Application End User License Agreement"). These Terms supplement, and do not replace, Apple's standard EULA.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except where permitted by law.
- Copy, redistribute, resell, or sublicense the App or its bundled data (including station data and photographs) without permission.
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage or impair it.
4. Information accuracy
The App's data — including lines, stations, routes, travel‑time estimates, and fares — is provided for informational and reference purposes only. Metro operations, schedules, fares, and station availability can change at any time and may differ from what the App shows. Always rely on official signage, announcements, and staff of the Tashkent Metro for authoritative information. We do not guarantee that the content is complete, current, or error‑free.
5. No warranty
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non‑infringement. You use the App at your own risk.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App — including missed trains, missed connections, delays, or reliance on inaccurate information. The App is a convenience tool and is not a substitute for official transit information.
7. Intellectual property
The App, its design, source code, and bundled content are owned by the Developer and protected by applicable intellectual‑property laws. "Tashkent Metro" and any related transit names, logos, and marks belong to their respective owners; their use in the App is purely descriptive and does not imply affiliation with or endorsement by the Tashkent Metro operator.
8. Third‑party services
The map view uses Apple's MapKit. Your use of map functionality is also subject to Apple's applicable terms and policies. We are not responsible for third‑party services.
9. Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains that the App collects no personal data.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
11. Termination
These Terms remain in effect while you use the App. You may stop using the App and delete it at any time. We may suspend or end the service if required by law or to protect the App.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, without regard to conflict‑of‑laws rules, except where mandatory local consumer‑protection laws of your country of residence apply.
