Welcome to Sukun! By downloading, accessing, or using the Sukun application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
1. Use of the Application
Sukun is a minimal calm companion application designed to guide breathing exercises, play ambient soundscapes, and promote relaxation.
- You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes.
- You are solely responsible for your use of the App and any preferences you configure within it.
- The App is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. It is designed for general wellness and relaxation purposes only.
2. Intellectual Property Rights
The App and its original content, features, and functionality — including but not limited to its breathing orb animation, UI/UX design, bundled audio loops, iconography, and source code — are owned by the developers of Sukun and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
- You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material in the App without our written consent.
- All bundled audio assets are either original creations or used in compliance with their respective licenses.
3. User Data and Privacy
Sukun operates entirely on-device. We do not collect, store, or process your personal data on any server. Your session preferences, soundscape settings, and appearance choices are saved locally using Apple's on-device storage.

4. Health Disclaimer
Sukun provides guided breathing exercises and ambient sounds for general relaxation. The App is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have a respiratory condition, anxiety disorder, or any health concern, consult a qualified healthcare professional before using breathing exercises.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
We are not responsible for any discomfort, health effects, or consequences that may arise from improper use of the breathing exercises or extended use of the application.
6. Limitation of Liability
In no event will Sukun, its developers, or its affiliates be liable for damages of any kind, under any legal theory, arising out of or in connection with your use, or inability to use, the App. This includes any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
7. Multilingual Content
Sukun supports multiple languages. Translations are provided for convenience. In the event of any inconsistency between the English version and a translated version of these Terms, the English version shall prevail.
8. Changes to Terms of Service
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of these Terms. Your continued use of the App following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes.
