Welcome to LocalizeKit! By downloading, accessing, or using the LocalizeKit application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
1. Use of the Application
LocalizeKit is a macOS application designed to automate translation of iOS/macOS localization files (.xcloc, .xliff, .xcstrings).
- You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes.
- You are solely responsible for your use of the App, the files you provide for translation, and the accuracy of any translated output.
- You are responsible for ensuring that your use of third-party translation services (such as Google Cloud Translation API) complies with their respective terms of service.
2. Intellectual Property Rights
The App and its original content, features, and functionality (including but not limited to its UI/UX design and source code) are owned by the developers of LocalizeKit and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.
- You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on our App without our written consent.
3. User Data and Privacy
LocalizeKit stores preferences and translation cache locally on your device. When using the Google Translate engine, source text strings are sent to Google's servers for translation. We do not collect or store your data on our own servers.

4. Third-Party Services
LocalizeKit integrates with third-party services including Google Cloud Translation API and Apple Translation framework. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or reliability of these third-party services. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies.
5. Translation Accuracy
Translations provided by LocalizeKit are generated by automated translation engines. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or quality of any translations. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all translated content before publishing or distributing it.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
We are not responsible for any data loss, incorrect translations, or consequences arising from the use of translated files generated by the App.
7. Limitation of Liability
In no event will LocalizeKit, its developers, or its affiliates be liable for damages of any kind, under any legal theory, arising out of or in connection with your use, or inability to use, the App. This includes any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
8. Changes to Terms of Service
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of these Terms. Your continued use of the App following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes.
