At StorageZen, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use our application.
1. Data Collection and Usage
1.1. Local Processing (Photos & Contacts)
StorageZen works entirely on your device.
- Photos & Videos: Algorithms to identify duplicates, screenshots, or similar photos run locally on your iPhone. Your media never leaves your device and is never uploaded to our servers.
- Contacts: Contact analysis (finding duplicates or incomplete contacts) is performed locally. We do not sync or store your contacts on any external server.
1.2. No Personal Data Collection
We do not collect, store, or share your personal information (such as your name, email address, or phone number). We do not require you to create an account to use the application.
1.3. Analytics
We may use anonymous, aggregated data provided by Apple via App Store Connect (if you have opted-in to share data with developers) to understand usage patterns (e.g., number of active users, retention rates). This data cannot be used to identify you personally.
2. Permissions
To function correctly, StorageZen requires access to:
- Photo Library: To find and organize your media.
- Contacts: To help you organize and clean up your address book.
You can revoke these permissions at any time in your device Settings, though some features of the app will no longer function.
3. Security
Since all processing happens on your device, your data is protected by the native security features of iOS (FaceID, Passcode, and iOS Sandboxing). We do not have access to your private content.
4. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
