Terms of Use
VoxNote: Voice to Text
Effective date: June 7, 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the VoxNote mobile application ("the App"), developed by Azimjon (azimxxm, "we"). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and Apple's App Store Terms of Service.
2. The Service
VoxNote lets you record voice notes and transcribe them to text on your device. Recordings and transcripts are stored locally on your device only — see our Privacy Policy.
3. Free Tier and VoxNote Premium
The free version of the App includes a limited number of recordings and limited transcription length. VoxNote Premium removes these limits and is offered as an auto-renewable subscription with weekly, monthly, and yearly plans. Current prices are always shown in the App before purchase.
Subscription terms
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price shown at purchase time.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your device settings: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or in the App Store app.
- Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium access until the end of the already-paid period.
- If offered, any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Refunds
Purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple, not by us — visit reportaproblem.apple.com or contact Apple Support.
4. Your Content
You own your recordings and transcripts. We claim no rights over them and — since they never leave your device — we have no access to them. You are solely responsible for the content you record, including obtaining any consent required by applicable law before recording other people.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the App to record any person without consent where consent is required by law;
- use the App for any unlawful purpose;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where permitted by law;
- resell, rent, or redistribute the App.
6. Transcription Accuracy
Transcription is performed by on-device speech recognition and is provided as is. Accuracy depends on audio quality, language, accent, and background noise. Do not rely on transcripts as the sole record for medical, legal, financial, or other critical purposes — always verify against the original recording.
7. Data Loss
All data is stored locally on your device. We cannot recover recordings or transcripts that are deleted, lost due to device damage or loss, or removed when the App is uninstalled. You are responsible for your own device backups (e.g., iCloud backup).
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
These Terms remain in effect until terminated. We may terminate the license if you breach these Terms. You may terminate at any time by deleting the App. Sections 4, 6–9 survive termination.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
12. Apple-Specific Terms
These Terms are between you and the developer, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App and is not responsible for any product claims, warranties, or legal compliance. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence remain unaffected.
